Starting at St Peter’s Church, Ravenshead, Bishop Paul visited National CofE Academy school, St Mary Magdalene Church and the John Godber Centre, to hear of God at work in our lives and communities during the past year.

April’s Jumble Sale will go ahead as planned and is therefore likely to be even bigger than usual! We hope to see you then.

It’s a chance to come along to the Centre and see the latest developments as part of their exciting refurbishment work and experience some of the user groups and their activities. There will be refreshments available in the newly refurbished first floor bar and the chance to see how the work being done at the Centre makes it perfect for your next party, anniversary celebration, christening party, wedding reception or business meeting. Or maybe you’re looking for a new home for your user group or club. However they can help, Centre staff will be happy to speak to you about your needs and show how the John Godber Centre, Hucknall can make your celebration all the more special.

The main picture shows a huge ‘hokey-cokey’ and fun and games were had by all. Curate James Pacey organised and compared the highlight of the event, a St Mary Magdalene ‘Mr & Mrs’ quiz where many secrets came to light and embarrased red faces were worn!
