The post Burundi Sunday first appeared on St Mary Magdalene Church Hucknall.]]> Another fantastic Burundi Sunday event was held today, at the John Godber Centre, where everyone enjoyed a menu of authentic Burundian food and took part in fun activities to help raise much needed funds for what is recognised as the second poorest country on earth.

The main picture shows hand made cakes for sale and the inset pictures show new curate James Pacey undergoing a ‘make-over’ in the name of Burundian fundraising and George Sissons attempting to ‘Limbo the lowest’.

Details of all monies raised will appear in the next pew leaflet.
