St Mary Magdalene church invite you all to the tenth Hucknall Christmas Tree Festival!
Wednesday 4.30pm – 8pm
Thursday 10am – 8pm
Friday 10am – 8pm
Saturday 10am – 12 noon
It’s getting more and more popular, each year, with last year’s festival attracting over 60 trees and thousands of visitors!
We’d like to thank you once again for helping to make it so successful and invite you to take part in this year’s 10th Anniversary event.
Nearly 70 organisations from your community have signed up so it’s going to be a fantastic spectacle!
The event takes place in St Mary Magdalene Church and opens at 4.30pm on Wednesday 4th December, during Carnival Night and closes on Saturday 7th December.
All proceeds from sponsorship of the trees will go to local charities through the Rotary Club of Hucknall. Proceeds from refreshment sales provided by the church, will go to St Mary Magdalene Church.
There will be an official ribbon-cutting opening ceremony at 4.30pm on Wednesday 4th December by last year’s winners.
Please Note: there will be a ‘one way system’ around the church to make sure that every tree is seen by all and to ensure access for prams and wheelchairs.
There will be a competition, judged by the general public to find the best tree. There will be an adult and children’s category and voting will be open from Wednesday evening through to Friday evening. Results will be announced at the church at 12 noon on Saturday 7th December.
Each visitor to the festival will receive a printed guide, listing all participants and their chosen tree decoration theme.
